Goodbye 1
I miss the three of you,
I break down so often, I don’t know what to do,
How to get through.
Maple Creek, a soft warm brown,
running over the rainbow-bridge, looking down.
Daisy in the strong unforgiving weather,
You are so strong, yet as light as a feather.
Blue butterfly with the young spirit of a child,
World shone brighter every time you smiled.
I never thought I would have to let you go,
The harsh reality as cold as freshly fallen snow.
I never thought, the daisy and butterfly, would die,
It is just so hard to say goodbye.

Goodbye 2
I never thought she’d leave so soon,
She left in the mid of June.
The strong and feather-light daisy,
A world without her just seemed crazy.
Losing someone I’ve known all my life,
Was like being stabbed with a knife.
Losing a loved one,
Like getting shot by a gun.
I don’t know how often I asked why,
It is just so unimaginable hard to say goodbye.

Goodbye 3
Blue Butterfly over the field,
Protected by your very own shield.
Gone to where flowers always bloom,
You went to that field, too soon.
Where the stars always shine,
You flew up there and now you are fine.
Blue Butterfly, fly through the sky,
To say I didn’t miss you would be a lie.
Out of reach for ever more,
It pains me to my very core.
I often think of you, and start to cry,
Why is it so hard to say goodbye?

Star over the sea, shine so bright,
You shone even within dim light.
Now you’re gone away from our night,
The sea rages with all it’s might.
I’ve known you ever since I was a little kid,
Remember all the things we did,
Together. I miss you star of the sea,
You’ve meant more you’ll ever know to me.
Oh, sea star you shone brighter than you’ll know,
I’ll keep your memory the way I knew you a long time ago.
You had to battle against a black hole,
I know, it was, out of your control,
But still, I can’t ignore your lacking presence,
In the universe’s essence.
Sea star, you shone so bright, even in darker times,
Your time has come, I watch as your light climbs,
It’s last few steps, to the gateway of eternal rest,
Your butterfly is back with you, for all that’s best.
Bye my star, dearly I’ll miss you,
As you begin a star’s journey no one knew.
